Dictionary: Prime number
A prime number is a natural number greater than 1 that is only divisible by 1 and itself.
2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23...
Prime numbers are the building blocks of mathematics. Every whole number can be written as a product of primes — this is called prime factorisation.
Note: 1 is NOT a prime number. 2 is the only even prime.
